The Oceanographic Museum, a monument combining art and science

A prestigious location, nestled against the legendary Rock of Monaco, it is the “flagship” of the Foundation and attracts more than 650,000 visitors a year. Beyond its remarkable architecture, it stands out for its world-renowned aquarium, its special exhibitions and its combination of art and science.

During European Heritage Days, the Oceanographic Museum is offering a tour to discover its architectural heritage. Come and discover the history and treasures of this temple of the sea, overlooking the Mediterranean and designed according to the wishes of Prince Albert I to bring together in one place the two guiding forces of civilisation: Art and Science.
