Tour of the Wedding Hall, Council Chamber and Mayor’s Office:
The Town Hall is the oldest institution in Monaco (13th century). 800 people work in 21 municipal departments representing the following areas of expertise: Social Affairs; Culture; Events; Living Environment, Environment and Sustainable Development; Sport and Leisure; Youth; Heritage and Traditions; Digital Transition. The building dates back to the 16th century and has been used as a private residence, a school, a barracks and various institutions (Civil Court, National Council and, of course, Monaco Town Hall).
A photo booth will be set up allowing you to leave with a souvenir of your visit to the municipal institution.
Concerts:
10 a.m., 10.30 a.m. and 11 a.m.: Concert by a solo harpist from the Rainier III Academy in the Town Hall lobby.
10:15 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.: Jazz and Amplified Music Ensemble from the Rainier III Academy.
3 p.m. and 4 p.m. : Concerts by the U Cantin d’A Roca choir in the wedding hall.
Exhibition in the Town Hall lobby:
Exhibition: “The Exotic Garden of Monaco, an architectural object: from plans to plants,” an exhibition by the Heritage Fund of the Monaco Municipal Media Library, in collaboration with the Exotic Garden of Monaco and the Municipal Technical Services.
